The Sherburne-Earlville 6-12 English Department strives to prepare our students for life after high school,
whether their goals are academic or vocational. Through the study of various genres of literature, we
help our students to express their thoughts clearly in both writing and speaking, to analyze and
synthesize each text, to understand themselves and the world at large, and to develop a genuine
affection for reading and writing.
