The mission of the Sherburne-Earlville Middle/High School Mathematics Department is to provide an educational experience in mathematics that will help students prepare for successful roles in an ever-changing society. This will be accomplished through our commitment to excellent teaching, a well-designed curriculum, and a supportive environment for all of our students. The department will teach mathematics and mathematical thinking at the appropriate levels, as well as, challenge students to develop problem-solving skills through the use of analysis, reasoning, creativity, collaborative learning, and self-expression.
